Please make
your problem our problem.
We're problem solvers. Each week companies throughout the country
call us and say, “Help! We need a label that won't fade in the
sun” or “Can you produce a label that peels off a product that's
been exposed to extremely hot temperatures?” and “The labels we're
using keep popping off the plastic vials that hold our products.”
And when they do, we spring into action.
Testing
1...2...3
There are thousands of different types of materials and adhesives
available. It's our business to understand how these materials
react to different applications. We dedicate countless hours year
round to testing materials. This ensures that we offer you the
product best suited for your application.
Sometimes we
receive specifications for a label manufactured so long ago that
the materials are cost prohibitive or no longer available. This
doesn't mean we can't help you. It just means that we'll suggest
newer materials designed to achieve the same results — often for
much less money.
Smart Shopping
= Savings
Occasionally customers say, “You sure ask a lot of questions!”
The reason? The more we know about your label needs, the easier
it will be for us to save you time, money and headaches.
For example,
let's say that your ongoing label requirements include a 2-1/4"
square label, a 2" square label with rounded corners, and a 3"
square label. Maybe these labels were designed by the same artist,
but purchased from three different vendors. Now you're almost
out of the 2-1/4" label so you call us to reorder.
But instead
of just taking the order, we ask you to tell us about the other
labels you use. How long will your current supply last you? Is
it essential that the 2" square label with rounded corners remain
at that size? Or could the label be increased to 2-1/4" without
affecting the application? If it's possible to save you money
by modifying the size, style or quantity of some of your labels,
we'll suggest it.
Creating
Error-Free Electronic Files
If you've ever had a printer tell you that your electronic files
weren't properly prepared to output to film, you're in good company.
Ninety-five percent of the electronic files we receive aren't
properly prepared. Seventy percent of the film negatives we receive
aren't properly prepared. Technology is advancing so quickly it's
difficult for the graphic arts industry — let alone other industries
— to learn to use all the hardware and software in the marketplace.
In addition, few graphic artists know the difference between preparing
art for use on flexographic and rotary presses and lithographic
presses.
We want to
help. Before you send us any artwork, let us talk to your graphic
designer. It slows production and increases costs when you hand
over incorrectly trapped files or files missing fonts. We'll work
with you over the phone, fax instructions to you or handle the
electronic prepress. Whatever it takes, we want your job to run
smoothly from start to finish. Ask us for assistance.

If You Want
It, You've Got It
Want your quote faxed or do you prefer a phone call? Interested
in using a reorder form custom-designed for your company? Need
a monthly reminder to inventory your supply of labels? We'll gladly
accommodate your personal purchasing preferences.
Have a special
shipping request? One customer requests no shipping materials
because it speeds up the unpacking process. Others need the label
core identified with our UL numbers to simplify inspections from
UL officers. When you receive your labels, we want you to feel
like you've received a gift you can't wait to open.
