Technical Considerations: Moisture & Application Speed
Beverage labeling requires distinct technical performance compared to dry goods. We ensure your labels perform under pressure.
- Moisture & Refrigeration: Beverage labels often face condensation, ice buckets, and humidity. We ensure the adhesives and face stocks used are waterproof and durable. A label designed for a dry shelf will not effectively adhere if the bottle is wet or stored in a cooler.
- Backings & High-Speed Application: The material from which labels are peeled (the backing) is a critical factor in bottling lines. The backing must support the speed of your application machine. Standard, lightweight paper backing is suitable for hand application and some machine application, but will fail in the high-speed, damp environment of a bottling line. We match the backing to your manufacturing equipment to prevent tearing and downtime.
