Flexographic Label Printing
Flexography and UV Flexography
Flexographic printing is fast and efficient and used for low to high volume applications. Flexography utilizes a flexible printing plate to transfer ink to printable substrates in a high speed rotary process. Flexography can be used with many substrates, from paper and metallic films to sample pouches and other types of synthetic materials. Flexo is a highly reliable method for printing metallics, pastels, opaque whites, and a variety of other flexo inks.
UV flexography is identical to standard flexography, with the exception that it uses ultraviolet (UV) cured ink, as opposed to standard water-based ink, to expedite the curing process. We can print in up to 12 colors with our flexography presses. Star Label specializes in both flexography and UV flexography, printing millions of high quality labels annually, using our state-of-the-art, flexographic presses. Our skilled graphics and printing teams work closely with companies in the food and beverage, consumer products and other industries with high quality requirements.
