The metallized BOPP didn’t conform well to their bottles — it wrinkled and failed to apply smoothly, particularly in the “belly” area where the shape fluctuated between convex and concave under different conditions (warm and cool). This not only affected the product’s appearance but also introduced inefficiencies on their production line.

Our Approach: Material Expertise in Action
As experts in label materials and print techniques, we quickly identified that the root of the issue was the rigidity of the silver metallized BOPP film. While it provided the desired metallic effect, it lacked the flexibility needed to conform to the shape and texture of their containers.
We recommended a two-part solution:
- Switch the base material to a white, highly conformable film engineered for smooth application on curved or uneven surfaces.
- Use silver cold foil stamping to recreate the metallic border effect that was so important to the brand’s design.
